Cai Jing Chinese Painting Print – Colophon Running Script

This Colophon Running Script print has range: it works in a study, a hallway, or above the tea table — exactly what this kind of Chinese art print for framing should be. A single unmounted sheet — that’s the whole product: a faithful huaxin print of the original.

From calligraphy to colophon to running script, the eye has a clear path through the image, the kind of Asian wall decor worth framing well. Around the main subject: handscroll, red seals, and red seals. The running-script inscription flows the way the style demands — fast, connected, confident — a traditional Chinese painting reproduction with real substance. Columns of calligraphy share the sheet with the image, as on the original. Cai Jing’s Song calligraphy carries the confidence of the high official he was.

It will age gracefully on your wall — good ink always does, and a worthy classical Chinese wall art. Give it the place of honor in a small room; it doesn’t need a big one.
